Membership with the Fitzgerald-Ben Hill County Arts Council includes a yearly membership card, published acknowledgment of your contribution, advance notice of all upcoming events and activities, occasional discounted ticket prices for paid performances and other participatory activities.  As the Arts Council is responsible to the community it serves, it is the community that determines our course.  We are but stewards of a concept that the quality of life in our community can always be improved upon and that by providing a wider access to the arts—visual, arts-in-education and performing arts—we will realize an enrichment of our day to day existence.  Your commitment to keep us informed of your ideas, your needs and desires is an integral facet of establishing a better life today and will set the tone for your future and your children’s future.  Please join us in becoming an integral part of Fitzgerald and Ben Hill County.  Through your support and help, we can ensure a legacy of volunteerism and philanthropy. 

Visual Arts—rotating exhibits throughout the year at the Carnegie Center and various other locations.  Ronald Goodman’s Annual Show and Sale.  Chicken Soup—an all-comer’s exhibit featuring local talent.  

Arts-in-Education—two, five-hundred dollar scholarships, awarded to Fitzgerald High School students to assist with college expenses.  

Cultural Arts Day—introducing our children to the varied world of art.  Summer Art Camp—a weeklong event encouraging our youth to create and explore the meaning of art in our lives.  

Performing Arts—Chamber Concert Series, Third Thursday, featuring professional and award winning musical talents.  Productions throughout the year including local and traveling shows.
