Camps

During the summer months, kids ages 4-14 can participate in our exciting day camps immersing them in the world of the Arts. During the Let's Make a Movie Camp, students work either individually or in teams to produce a short live action or stop motion film to be screened at the Grand Theatre. In Summer Arts Camp, students learn set design, costuming, acting, dancing, prop making, local history, literature, and arts and crafts culminating in a student-run performance at the Grand Theatre. Our July Art Camps allow for deeper exploration of selected arts.

Classes & Workshops

Have you every wanted to learn how to sew, act, crochet, paint, or arrange flowers? Maybe you'd like to learn to make pottery, jewelry, or soap, or take a yoga class? The Arts Council offers many classes and workshops throughout the year.

Clubs​

Joining a club is a great way to meet new friends and socialize! The Grand Balcony Club meets monthly for dinner and a movie in the balcony of the Grand Theatre. PageTurners Book Club also meets monthly to discuss selected books over light snacks.

In collaboration with our community partners, such as the City of Fitzgerald, Tourism Arts and Culture, Fitzgerald Area CVB, and Fitzgerald-Ben Hill Chamber of Commerce, we strive to give our local and regional artists opportunities to showcase their talents to the community.

Performances

FBHAC provides our community with a variety of performing arts from theatre to dance to vocal & instrumental performances. Our Open Mic Night gives everyone a chance to showcase their talents. The Third Thursday event series features local and regional solos, duets, and ensembles. Community Theatre brings our community together to create and share exciting stories through the theatre experience.
